About Me
Peter Schnuda, originally from Chicago, made the move to Virginia in 2011. His favorite thing to do is to hang out with his wife and two kids. With over 20 years of teaching experience, Peter's journey has naturally evolved into counseling others, where he sees the importance of healing through Christ through the understanding that we, as His royal children, can be healed fully and loved eternally by an eternal God. He holds a doctorate in Biblical Counseling from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, reflecting his commitment to integrating faith with therapeutic practices.
My mission at St. Barnabas Biblical Counseling is to connect people with The Great Physician, our Lord Jesus Christ. From this connection with the Word of God, we are then encouraged, begin to heal, and understand our true identity in Him.
